Advance Notice: No Glory Campaign & Stop the War Coalition

On Monday 4th August 2014, two groups called “No Glory Campaign & Stop the War Coalition” intend to hold a static demonstration in Parliament Square against the glorification of World War One.

They intend to assemble from 6.30pm, ending the event at 8.30pm. They will be remembering those that have died. The organiser estimates 100 - 200 people attending, including Jeremy Corbyn MP.

This may result in an increase in noise levels andfootfall in and around the immediate area.

Other Parallel Events

There are a number of events occurring that day and there will be an increased police presence across central London.

A proportionate policing plan is in place.

 There will be Police Liaison Officers on duty throughout the event that will be linking in and engaging with the demonstrators.
