All is not lost ! I have just heard it from a reliable source that TFL have given Head of Compliance appointment to David Blunkett.
I didn't much rate him as Home Secretary to be honest, but I think this position will be ideal for him.
I wager he does better than the current lot and wish him well.

See what I mean ? How can you possibly take these people seriously ?
Surely somebody has to proof read TFL's announcements before they are put out ?
I know people would say that its just a small error, but it just ain't professional is it ? Professional Incompetence, it really gets my goat ! Is it difficult to get right!
No wonder they sod the important things up, when they just can't get eff all right at the bottom end !
Who gives these mongs the jobs in the first place ? Don't they have to pass some sort of assessment or candidate test ?
TFL embarrass me, they honestly do. I feel ashamed to have their name on my hard earned licence !
Its like passing an exam to become a Fighter Pilot and have Ant & Dec's name and logo endorsing the flying licence isn't it ?
They just ain't credible! Completely inadequate mate !

It's the word licensed that is causing all the confusion.
The sooner Private Hire are down graded to REGISTERED PRIVATE HIRE, the better. The 1998 PH Act London was created solely to protect the general public. It hasn't worked and now would be a good time for the legislation to be changed. All PH drivers are a risk to the general public, the statistics speak for themselves. And don't forget, the statistics only represent a small percentage of the true figures.

REGISTERED PRIVATE HIRE, YOU KNOW IT MAKES SENSE!
